WINTERIZING YOUR LOOK.
Okay, the winter weather is officially here. And just as you change your wardrobe for the winter season, you should change your makeup also. Here are a few makeup tips to winterize your look.
- Wondering what to do with all those bronzers and gold, neutral colored glosses you wore throughout the summer? Well, it's perfectly fine to wear bronzers year long. But for the winter, pair your cheek bronzers with a deeper colored blush and opt for rich red or oxblood colored lipstick.
- Not confortable with a rich red or burgundy color lipstick? Well, this is where that gold/nude tone gloss you wore over the summer comes in. Apply a hint of gold shimmer or nude shimmer gloss just on the center of your lips on top of the red lipstick. It softens the look.
- Winter is also a great time to use those deep rich greens and blues loose eye shimmer. To winterize your smokey eye, start with a black eyeshadow base on your lower lids (make sure to go heavy on the outer corners) and incorporate these deep green, blues or plums to smoke out the eye.
With these beauty tips...you'll be sure to look glamorous this winter.
Til Next Time.

Hello Glam Girls,
Spring is here and it's time to do some Spring cleaning. Start with your makeup bag.
- Throw out any liquid or cream makeup that you've own for more than a year. i.e. mascara, foundation, etc.
- Make sure all your pencils have caps and re-sharpen after every use to eliminate bacteria from forming.
- Wash your brushes with anit-bacterial soap at least 2x a month. Try to keep these and your sponges in their own bag.
- Incorporate the new fun colors for Spring and Summer.
Spring and Summer 2012 showcase fun, bright colors. Neon and tangerine colors are hot this season. But don’t be afraid to wear these bright colors. They work on any skin tone or complexion. Just remember, less is more.
Apply the neon or orange color to lower lid only. These colors stand out on their own so you don’t have to worry about adding contour or crease colors if your skills aren’t quite there. Finish the look with liner, mascara, and highlighter under the brow. To balance the boldness of the eye, use a nude or soft lipcolor.
Visit our studio to create your own spring color palette.
Until next time.
